Thank you for an amazing summer concert this past weekend, July 15 and 16 at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center. This concert included a few nice touches this time around Рupgraded table seating with complementary wine or beverage, a fun and fabulous swing dance stage, and costume contest winners…congratulations!

Come Swing with Us

The Oakland East Bay Gay Men’s Chorus is proud to partner with City Swing to bring you Come Swing with Us – a night of lively music and dancing! Featuring special guest artist Leanne Borghesi, who joins the chorus to bring some beloved jazz and swing-era favorites to the stage!

We encourage the audience to join the fun as we transform the Oakland Asian Cultural Center into a night club, complete with cocktail tables, thrilling big band music, and a dance floor to show off those moves! Tickets are now on sale for A Prairie Homo Companion, the Spring Concert presented by the Oakland East Bay Gay Men’s Chorus. “This shall certainly be one of the most entertaining shows you’ll find anywhere in the East Bay this Spring.” according to Lawrence Turner, former board president.

Under the direction of William Sauerland and featuring Principal Accompanist Lynden Bair, the chorus will sing and pay homage to the radio show formerly hosted by Garrison Keilor. Character sketches promise to charm and entertain anyone familiar with the original show.
